KH Academy Collaborates with Mahidol International College to Develop Quality Graduates for Thailand’s Capital Market

On February 18, 2025, KH Academy signed an academic collaboration agreement with Mahidol University International College (MUIC) to enhance the quality of university students in finance and business management. The partnership aims to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to enter Thailand’s capital market and business sector in the future.

The agreement was signed by Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong, Executive at KH Academy, and Prof. Chulathida Chomchai, M.D., Dean of MUIC. The signing ceremony took place at the Atithathorn Conference Room, 3rd floor, Atithathorn Building, MUIC, Salaya.

Witnesses to the signing included executives from Kaohoon Turakij Newspaper and KH Academy, including Mr. Siriroje Sirisawat, Deputy Director of News and Business Development, Kaohoon Turakij Newspaper; Mr. Nattaphat Ngouvisitkul, Co-Founder; Ms. Wanwisa Punosoth, Co-Founder and Director of Partner Relations at KH Academy; as well as faculty and staff from MUIC, including Asst. Prof. Dr. Chompunuch Pongjit, Associate Dean for Educational Affairs, Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanarerk Thanakijsombat, Chair of Business Administration Division, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Phassawan Suntraruk, Program Director of Finance.

Mr. Burapha Sanguanwong explained that KH Academy was established under the mission of “Kaohoon Turakij,” to serve the public and investors by providing market information, which also serves as a form of education. KH Academy focuses on developing young professionals with new perspectives who will play key roles in advancing the capital market industry. This collaboration combines the strengths of both institutions—MUIC’s exceptional theoretical curriculum in business management, particularly in finance, with KH Academy’s emphasis on practical experience. Together, this partnership aims to provide students with both comprehensive theoretical knowledge and real-world application.

“As we know, the world is rapidly changing, and the financial industry is continuously introducing new products and innovations. The capital market is undeniably a key driver of the economy. I believe that learning about the capital market while still in university can help students gain a deeper understanding and better prepare them for future careers with greater efficiency. This collaboration offers students the opportunity to apply what they learn in the classroom to real-life situations. Additionally, since many financial professions require licenses, studying at KH Academy will provide students with insights into their career paths and help them start their professional journey earlier than others,” said Mr. Burapha.

Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanarerk Thanakijsombat, Head of the Business Administration Department at MUIC, highlighted that the program aims to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary for professional careers in the capital market and business sectors. The CFA-affiliated program, which offers high-level theoretical content, will now be complemented by KH Academy’s practical experiences and industry networking opportunities, giving students valuable real-world experience and direct connections within the industry.

“In business, networking is crucial. Gaining experience and insights from professionals in the industry will help students understand career paths in the capital market, such as financial advisors, analysts, and portfolio managers. This collaboration provides an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience, build a strong network, and prepare for the real-world challenges of business,” said Asst. Prof. Dr. Thanarerk.

He concluded, “This program and the partnership offer a great opportunity to reshape financial literacy education by providing both experience and the chance to build strong foundations for future careers in the financial industry.”
