 KH Academy Celebrates Success! Graduation Ceremony Held for ‘Prep for Financial Advisor’ Batch 3, with Certificates and a 50,000 Baht Scholarship Awarded to the Winning Workshop Team

KH Academy hosted the graduation ceremony for the third cohort of its “Prep for Financial Advisor” program, a professional readiness course for aspiring financial advisors. A 50,000 Baht scholarship was awarded to the winning team of the investment planning workshop, and certificates were presented to nearly 60 course graduates.

The event reaffirmed KH Academy’s commitment to nurturing youth toward careers in finance and investment. Representatives from leading financial advisory firms were present to witness the students’ first step into the professional world.

On February 13, 2025, KH Academy, a leading learning institution focused on developing financial and investment career skills for university students, held the graduation ceremony for the third cohort of the Prep for Financial Advisor program at KH Academy Ratchathewi Campus.Executives from top financial advisory firms in Thailand were in attendance, witnessing the success of students and professionals from securities companies who completed the program. Distinguished guests included Dr. Somphob Sakpunpanom, Chairman of Asset Pro Management Co., Ltd. (APM); Mr. Somsak Sirichainarumitr, Director of Asset Pro Management Co., Ltd. (APM); Mr. Teemanus Kiatdechpanya, Associate Director of PrimeStreet Advisory (Thailand) Co., Ltd.; and Ms. Darin Kanjana, CEO of OptAsia Capital Co., Ltd. with Mr. Burapa Sanguanwong, Executive of KH Academy, welcomed all attendees.

The event commenced with Mr. Chanchai Sanguanwong, Director of Kaohoon Turakij Newspaper, delivering an opening speech to thank the private sector partners supporting KH Academy. These included B.Grimm Power Public Company Limited (BGRIM), PrimeStreet Advisory (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited (KTB), Srisawad Corporation Public Company Limited, Millennium Group Corporation (Asia) Public Company Limited (MGC), Petchsrivichai Enterprise Public Company Limited (PCE), Sky ICT Public Company Limited, Food Moment Public Company Limited, G-Able Public Company Limited (GABLE), Master Style Public Company Limited, and Ichitan Group Public Company Limited (ICHI).

This also included support from the Thailand Capital Market Development Fund (CMDF) (https://www.facebook.com/cmdf.or.th/), as well as financial advisory firms such as Asset Pro Management Co., Ltd. (APM), PrimeStreet Advisory (Thailand) Co., Ltd., OptAsia Capital Co., Ltd., CGS International Securities (Thailand) Co., Ltd. (CGSI), and KGI Securities (Thailand) Public Company Limited (KGI). These organizations provided expert speakers to share real-world knowledge and experiences not found in textbooks, aiming to nurture and prepare the new generation for professional careers in finance and investment.

The highlight of the event was the announcement of the winning team from the workshop activity, the investment presentation where the team structured company groups and evaluated business value for a scholarship worth 50,000 baht, the winning team members were: Mr. Nonthaphat Simangern, 4th-year engineering student, Chulalongkorn University; Mr. Supalerk Asavapaiboon, 4th-year engineering student, Chulalongkorn University; Mr. Supavit Kritsanayunyong, 3rd-year economics student, Thammasat University; Mr. Wisut Kerdlapphon, 3rd-year business administration student, University of Thai Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Wongsathon Chanfak, 2nd-year business administration student, University of Thai Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Lapawat Chaowanaphn, 2nd-year engineering student, Kasetsart University; and Ms. Chananupipit Pakornkiat, 2nd-year social business administration student, Srinakharinwirot University.

Additionally, an award was presented in another special event category, the FA Influencer Competition (KH Academy x Partners), with a prize of 5,000 baht. This activity was organized by KH Academy with the objective of promoting and supporting students in building connections, gaining well-rounded knowledge, and enhancing professional skills that will benefit both their academic and future career paths.

On this occasion, Dr. Somphop Sakpanpanom, Chairman of Asset Pro Management Co., Ltd. (APM), honored the graduates with a speech offering career advice, stating, “To succeed as a financial advisor, you need three things: Eat like a pig, sleep like a dog, and work like a buffalo.” This advice resonated strongly with the aspiring financial advisors.

The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to 57 graduates from six universities: Chulalongkorn University, Thammasat University, Kasetsart University, Srinakharinwirot University, University of Thai Chamber of Commerce, and Ramkhamhaeng University, along with staff from CGS-CIMB Securities International (Thailand) Co., Ltd. and Pie Securities Co., Ltd. The certificates were presented by Mr. Somsak Sirichainarumitr, Director of Asset Pro Management Co., Ltd. (APM)
