Investment Analyst
An investment analyst, often called a “securities analyst,” is responsible for conveying information about securities to investors through detailed written analysis. This includes assessing business characteristics, growth prospects, financial statements, and security valuations, to help investors make informed investment decisions. Additionally, securities analysts gather, interpret, and explain complex company information in a way that makes it easier for investors to understand. This ensures investors can access both fundamental and technical data, which can ultimately increase the chances of a successful investment.
